2D Felted Portraits - Aug 2022 Who will you create?! In this workshop you will learn the basics of 2D needle felting and how to turn wool from a fiber mess into a coherent image. Felted friends make great gifts or decorations. Bring reference images of the person you want to craft. About the instructor: Gabrielle is a young illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she’s not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
