3D Felted Portraits Do you like felt? Do you like to draw faces? Do you like to sculpt? If you answered yes to any of those questions then felting 3D portraits may be something you love! In this workshop you will learn how to felt a 3D face from fibers. You don’t need any experience with felting to do this but some experience drawing or artistic handling of faces would be ideal. Materials will be provided. She grew up on a small island in Maine, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she’s not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
