Batik your own Maine Lobster!

Description

Working with ink, wax. and watercolor on delicate rice paper, students will learn and practice the techniques of painting in batik style. No experience is required. Every skill level will be successful. This is a no-fail, make and take workshop with guidance from an experienced artist and teacher (Gloria Avner), every step along the way. You will go home with one lovely batik painting, a subject of your own choosing, matted and ready for framing, and will have the time and opportunity to begin a second. My students are always amazed at their outcomes, and as they tell me, time after time (some like to take it repeatedly) this workshop is a lot of fun
