Description
Beetles are easily recognized by their shell-like exteriors. From exotic bombardier and jewel beetles to familiar ladybugs and fireflies, Maine is home to bevies of beautiful beetles! Come discover the amazing diversity and adaptations of these gorgeous insects living right in your own yard and garden. Woodlawn’s nature programs, led by naturalist Lynn Havsall, are a fun learning experience open for all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Nature programs are free and open to the public. Donations, however, are greatly appreciated.
Space is limited. Reservations are required.
