Humans perceive certain wavelengths of light as color, and, over the centuries, these colors have developed associations and meanings. Why does red incite anger or yellow evoke happiness? Knowing how people perceive different colors--and what those colors say when used together--is a powerful storytelling tool. In this morning workshop, we will explore the basics of color theory and how to use it to your advantage in art. Ages 10+ Instructor: Piper Charron NOTE: All outdoor classes are weather-dependent; we will make the call in the morning by 8 am. Also, because of safety issues with COVID-19, there will be no restroom facilities available. All participants must wear a mask or other nose & mouth covering (scarf, bandana) during class. Please do not attend programs if you have symptoms or are feeling ill. $15 per participant (members and nonmembers)Book Online
