Creating Digital Art with Microsoft Word with Neil Needleman
Microsoft Word may be the most popular word-processing program, but it’s useful for more than just words and text. Fact is, Word is also a surprisingly remarkable tool for visual artists.
I’ll show you how to access and utilize the graphics tools hidden behind the façade of the Word interface. As a result, you will be able to create digital art inspired by your own vision and capabilities. And, because Word is approachable and relatively easy to use, you don’t need to study intimidating (and expensive) graphics programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, etc., to create interesting, imaginative, and beautiful digital art.

Participants should bring a laptop equipped with Microsoft Word to the workshop, (PC or Mac).

About the instructor: Neil Needleman is an award-winning video artist/videomaker. Over the years, a wide range of his work has been screened in film festivals and other venues around the world. Neil has also worked as a copywriter in the creative departments of major advertising and marketing agencies in the NYC-metro area.
