Dennis Damon, a fourth-generation commercial fisherman and former Maine state senator, will talk about what is happening off our shores today and what the future may hold. Damon was chair of the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Marine Resources and currently serves as Board Chair of the Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries in Stonington, whose mission is to "secure a sustainable future for fishing and fishing communities in Eastern Maine and beyond."
