Hospice Volunteer Training-Ellsworth

Do you want to make a difference in the life of someone in your community? Do you want to volunteer for what could be the most meaningful role in your life? If yes, we want to talk with you!

We are looking for volunteers to provide companionship and respite for our hospice and palliative care patients. If you have a few hours to give each week, we want to talk with you. Volunteers sit with patients, read to them, share stories, play games, write letters for patients and more.

We need volunteers in all areas, especially the Hancock/Franklin and Bucksport areas.
We are also looking for Reiki and Pet Therapy Volunteers!

Training includes 12 hours in class and 8.5 hours online
Location: HVHC, 14 McKenzie Ave., Ellsworth
January 30, February 6, 13, and 20
10:00am-1:00pm
