On Saturday January 26th Island Connections will hold their 3rd Annual Chowder Chowdown for Rides Competition. The event will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM at The Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor. Cost is $10 per person or $30 per family (family=up to 2 adults plus children in the same family) Price includes chowder, salad, bread and beverage. Vote for your favorite to win People’s Choice Award. In addition to the chowder we will be raffling off a tremendous prize package valued at over $1200 as well as a 50/50 raffle.
All proceeds from this event support the Island Connections mission to provide transportation to seniors and people with disabilities on Mt. Desert and surrounding Islands to enhance their independence and quality of life by utilizing our core group of dedicated volunteers.
