Plant Walk and Foraged Tasting

Description

Join The Naturalist's Notebook and forager and wild food cook, Rachel Alexandrou for an educational walk on how to safely identify and cook with wild edible plants. The walk will last 1.5 hours and will end in a foraged tasting. Stewardship for the land and plants is of utmost importance, we will not be harvesting anything on the walk so just a notebook and writing utensil, sturdy shoes, and a water bottle will be necessary. This walk is great for beginners to foraging, or plant lovers interested in learning about how to incorporate plants in the kitchen. Rachel will provide wild snacks and drinks at the end of class.
