Seeing with Fresh Eyes

In this course we will use a live nude model to hone our drawing skills and test our own boundaries by trying new techniques. The human figure has classically been considered the most challenging of subjects to draw. You will gain the most out of this course if you have some experience drawing, but enthusiasm and dedication are the most important requirements. Among the subjects covered: * how to select the materials that express your vision most eloquently * various approaches to creative composition * tone and color: pro tips on creative expression * how to look: what do you really see? Along the way we’ll review strategies for marketing your own work in the digital age. We’ll cover approaches to social media (Instagram, Facebook) as well as specific marketplaces for your work (Etsy, Saatchi, and so forth).
