Description
Explore silk painting with Mount Desert Island artist Jeanne Seronde Perkins. Using lush fabric paints and water based resist on thin white silk, you will have a chance to play with colors making your own silk scarf or banner. The cost is $80 for Woodlawn members and $90 for non-members and includes all materials. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Jeanne has been making art on Mount Desert Island for over thirty years. She specializes in 2 & 3D collage, as well as silk painting. Her work is exhibited in Maine, as well as other states in the U.S. and abroad and is in over 100 private collections.
