Values with Charcoal (Drawing Workshop)

Even without drawing experience, you can create depth with charcoal. Here is an opportunity to experiment with a variety of charcoal; try chamois, sharpen with sandpaper, and see how charcoal lays on several types of paper--try drawing without lines!

After a few demonstrations and practice, you can work from an image on your phone or the simple still life we set up as the instructor helps on an individual basis. All materials are included. This is one of the experiences I wish I had when I started drawing! --Instructor Liz Cutler
