We all know that time of year. You have been stuck inside for way too long, the snow is no longer a novelty and you cannot wait until it just gets a little warmer. You have a case of the “cabin fever crazies!” Join the Jesup Memorial Library and emcee Jeff Miller for the next Words Unleashed! Story Slam on Friday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. to tell a story that fits that theme.
The setup is similar to “The Moth” Radio Hour on NPR. All stories are true, first-person stories that are five minutes or shorter. Come tell your story or just come to listen to the stories of your friends and neighbors. At the end of each slam, the theme for the next slam is chosen.
