PET OF THE WEEK Grizwold is our current oldest cat resident. He came to the SPCA-HC in October as a stray and in rough shape. Where he came from stray holding, we unfortunately do not know anything about his past, where he came from, and what his life has looked like. We do know that when he came into our care, he required a full shave to remove matting that was several inches deep which is why he has a handsome lion haircut. PET OF THE WEEK We are very pleased to introduce our purrfect 3-legged kitty resident, Mr. Nubbins! What he lacks in a hind right leg, he makes up for in heart. This absolute love bug came into our care, from stray holding, so we unfortunately do not know anything about his history, or how he lost his hind leg, but the vet believes he was born with it that way. PET OF THE WEEK Xube (pronounced Zoob) is making his debut as Pet of the Week again in the hopes that his perfect person will see it! Xube is a pup at around 2 years old. His puppy years have come and gone while he’s been shuffling around shelters, and he’s really ready to find his forever home. It is non-negotiable that he goes to a home with no other animals. PET OF THE WEEK Zooey (pronounced Zoo-ee) is a sweet kitty looking for a quiet home… but not too quiet! When she isn’t mimicking a loaf of bread, Zooey is also a curious kitty who enjoys taking her time exploring new spaces and toys. She would love a nice window perch to safely observe the world from, and lots of interactive toys would make this gal quite happy! PET OF THE WEEK Blix is still here at the SPCA-HC, so we’re breaking out THE picture - how could you possibly resist? Blix is a sweet, playful 2 year old pup looking for a home where he can spend lots of time with his people, and play to get all of his energy out! Blix gets SO excited when he gets to spend time with humans at the shelter. He loves to go for walks, play fetch, and snuggle with warm blankets. Treats are this pup’s best friend and work wonders in redirecting his excited, young dog energy.
