Pet of the Week - Gemma

This Pet of the Week is dedicated in memory to beloved community member and animal lover, Ronald Ruoss. In honoring his memory, his family requests that donations be made to your favorite animal shelter or dog rescue organization in lieu of flowers, reflecting his lifelong love for animals. 

We are honored to present Gemma as Pet of the Week. Gemma recently found herself back at the shelter after losing her beloved person. Though her heart is healing, she faces each day with resilience, wearing a big, silly smile that reminds us just how special she is. Despite the changes in her life, she remains calm, quiet, and full of love, hoping for a second chance at a forever home. 

Gemma is a sweet senior gal with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to dim. This gentle soul is around 12 years old and has spent the past few years of her life knowing nothing but kindness and adoration. She’s ready to continue that journey with someone who will cherish her golden years and show her the brilliant love she’s learned to know. If you're looking for the perfect lounge buddy, Gemma is your girl! She dreams of a soft place to land, warm snuggles, and gentle companionship. She doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy bed, a loving human, and plenty of pets to remind her she’s still someone’s special pup.
