PET OF THE WEEK

I am Willard, here we sing - AWOOO! If you’re looking for a backup vocalist, I’m your guy! I’m also affectionately known to the staff here as Willie or Squillard. Other than my beautiful singing, you may also notice a little hitch in my step. I recently had to have hip surgery to fix an existing injury from before my time at the shelter. I am the sweetest, gentlest dog with a great temperament. I’m also a bit goofy and love to show off my playful side! 

My ideal home will be mindful of my recent surgery and open to helping me finish the recovery process. The shelter people will show you the simple daily exercises I do to help me continue to heal. I am the most well-behaved pup when doing my exercises! I will need a home with a fenced-in yard because, as a hound dog, my nose rules over all else. I have been a very brave boy throughout my journey and now that I’m all fixed up, I am very ready to find my second chance.
