• Women’s Spring Skills Day Presented by Camp Beech Cliff

Camp Beech Cliff, in partnership with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's (MDIFW) Maine Outdoor Programs, is thrilled to announce the second annual Women’s Spring Skills Day on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Formerly known as Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW), this event provides an opportunity for women of all experience levels to build confidence, expand their outdoor skills, and connect with Maine’s natural resources in a welcoming and supportive environment. Dive into a full day of outdoor adventure, open to women ages 18 and up, featuring activities like sea kayaking, wild game cooking, wilderness survival skills, land navigation, reading the forested landscape, and more!

After an incredible turnout last year, this year's event will once again feature a variety of hands-on workshops focused on outdoor recreation, survival skills, wildlife education, and more. Offerings include Land Navigation, Intro to Archery and Bowhunting, Bushcraft & Survival, Reading the Forested Landscape with Tom Wessels, Wildlife Tracking, Sea Kayaking, and more. Machias Savings Bank is helping to support this event, including student discounts!
